Creativity starts from curiosity.
Each piece reflects my exploration of colors, textures, and imagination.
Through the mix and match of various colors and sizes of ddakji—a traditional Korean folded-paper tile used in a flipping game—I wanted to show that ddakji is not just a traditional toy, but also an art material with its own sculptural beauty and a sense of rhythm depending on the arrangement.
Even in isolated spaces, I can sometimes encounter the external landscape. It approaches me as an abstract form, offering me a new landscape.
